École de cirque de Québec

[Diplômé.e.s DEC-DEE 2026] Thalia Rassaert (@thalia.rst) | roue allemande

[2026 DEC-DEE graduates] Thalia Reassert | German wheel
Thalia Rassaert is a circus artist specializing in the German wheel. After beginning her journey at the Flic Scuola di Circo (Turin), where she completed the preparatory program, she continued her training at the École de cirque de Québec, where she developed her art and also specialized in trampoline wall. Born at the crossroads of the arts and sports, Thalia grew up to the rhythm of music and bursts of color. Very early on, she realized that a life without the arts is like a square wheel: it doesn’t roll. It was therefore only natural that she turned to the performing arts, where the body, the voice, and the imagination converge. Trained in theater and nourished by the visual arts, her artistic approach is inherently hybrid. For her, the energy of the collective is a driving force as powerful as movement itself. Today, she blends acrobatics and storytelling, physical performance and the poetry of movement.
