🩸 sacrifice 🩸
After a series of misfortunes, Kaska and Kiki felt they were finally on the right path to retrieve what's rightfully theirs. Of course this would be no easy task, ressources would be lost and every person willing to participate in this "mission" knew that they might never come back the same... Still, the brave fighters gathered outside the crimson princess' camp. It were many, though dressed in rags and wielding dull blades compared to the elf's powerful blood magic.
When she appeared, the brave soldiers stumbled back, shaken by her presence. But the rage hadn't worn off. One by one, they gathered back their courage and faced the unstoppable force in front of them.
What followed could only be described as a hellish stage play, observed by those clever enough to not get too close. The princess's power dominated the weak souls of the street soldiers, making them bend and act according to her will, just like puppets. After some time, everthing had fallen silent. The groans and faint screams of the wounded could still be heard, but no one was standing anymore. The crimson elfs breathing quickened. She looked at the empty pedestal, where the heart had sat. It was empty now. In the distance, some of the ragged street kids were seen carrying each other, one of them holding a small, bloodied pouch.
