This sketch was inspired by a reel I saw by @chirpy_chehak who used a simple ultrasonic sensor to control a dither effect on a live video feed. I thought it would be interesting to try it on the split-flap video effect I've been toying with.

The first half uses the distance data to change effect parameters, and the effect is being applied to a prerecorded video clip.

The second half is more akin to the original inspiration, with the effect applied to a live video input.
