Sometimes we are so blessed in life.
I know Heavenly Father lets us experience moments where He says, “Keep my commandments, [Your Name], and make it to the end of this life, and this is what the rest of eternity will be like.”
I wrote this from seat 33C in the back of the airplane leaving Guatemala, wife asleep on my lap and tears pouring down my face. The 10- and 16-year-old boys sitting across from me are looking at me like I’m the craziest 24-year-old guy they’ve ever seen.
In moments like this, tears are the only answer.
I don’t even know how to explain it.
Four years ago, I baptized my Guatemalan best friend, Luisa. Today she is 13 and wakes up every single day before the sun to make tortillas all day, seven days a week, to survive.
Every day in the hot sun, yet the moment I saw her, she still had that precious little smile on her face, as if life couldn’t be any better.
I don’t know how to explain to her that for the last four years, I’ve looked at the picture of us together on my desk, praying for her and remembering how she has mastered every attribute of our Savior.
Some people are going straight to Heaven.
Heaven is all over Guatemala! 🇬🇹
A special thank you to
@andcollar @missionarymall and so many of you who made it possible to bless 12 families with hygiene essentials and shelf-stable foods.
Together, we brought over 25 dresses, 30 white shirts, 40 ties, and 60 goodie bags full of treats and toys for the kids, plus bought treats, drinks, and food for so many others along the way!
Not only was I able to see Heaven each day in Guatemala with my gorgeous wife
@caits.robinson but I’ve seen it through the love, service, and kindness you shared with my friends there.
Now, all I can do is return to my knees and thank my Heavenly Father for giving us His Son, Jesus Christ, who truly made everything possible.
Always remember: Jesus Christ loves you! 🫶🏻🇬🇹
All my love,
@jordyrobs 🥲🤟🏻
