just wanted to quickly share my testimony of the house of the Lord

returning home from my mission I set the goal to never miss a week of temple attendance for my first 2 years home.

In all honesty this goal has been hard to keep the past 19 months. There have been mornings where I've had to get up before the sun, times I’ve had to skip out on things, too many days i showed up to work late, and more than a few Saturday nights I begged the workers to let me squeeze in a last-minute session because I can't miss my weekly temple trip.

And I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.

The joy the temple has brought into my life is deeper than anything else. More fulfilling than anything money can buy. I whole heartedly would take it over any lake trip, any slept in morning, or fun night out with friends. Because It’s real. It’s lasting. and It's a place that feels like home.

In the temple I feel my purpose here on earth. I understand what God wants for me. I feel more connected to Christ and my Heavenly Father. I'm so grateful for the peace, humility and genuine joy that temple attendance has brought into my life🤍 by @britleybell
