I hate moments like this. Today I noticed Apple starting to be picky about a bottle this afternoon but ate earlier this evening fine, and despite keeping her clean, having a great appetite and gaining weight steadily now this evening she took a turn and is now acting neurological. We’ve addressed hypoglycemia (I have an Alpha Trak3) and is normothermic but she is still shaking and acting restless. She even looks painful, so we went ahead and addressed that too as no cat, including pediatrics, should not go without pain mgt even if they may be dying. Her HR is normal but she’s breathing heavier with normal lung sounds. I was worried about possible sepsis with her due to the foot earlier this week, but now her abdomen this evening is dusky and that is never a good sign. :/ She’s gotten a bit of fluids and some antibiotics so cross your fingers she turns a corner. It’s going to be a long night. #cgmff #thecatlvt #criticalkitten
