Little Birdie had what can be best described as a bad little “turn” yesterday. I don’t know if that’s a medical term but in Ireland and England you hear it all the time. She had a very serious moment as an older lady and she’s lucky to be alive.

🤒 We thought we’d lost her for a while as we found her on the edge in her beloved retirement home. The medical team saved her and all her vitals returned to normal. Heat stoke and some other possibilities have been looked at. Either way she is not well at all.

🛌 I decided to bring her up to my house as the hospital is very noisy and busy with sick dogs. I didn’t think it was the place to be so she is up with nurse Hank and little chance. It scared her a little at first as she is weak and Hank looks big and scary so she got a little out of breath but she has settled in.

🍣 She is eating smoked salmon and poached chicken and drinking well but her power is very very low. Birdie is at least 12 years old.

💻 I’m hoping she rallies a little in the coming week after her little turn as she had been very well and healthy recently albeit her usual slow self given her age. I canceled all my plans for the day to work on laptop and spend time with her.

💤 After dinner she slept on me for an hour. It was the deepest lost peaceful sleep I think she’s ever have. Birdie was snoring her little heart out.

I don’t know what her future holds but I could care the thought of her passing away at night alone in the hospital. She loves humans so much. I’ll be moving her bed in beside mine fit her night and watching her little belly rising up and down. Keep your fingers crossed for the most beautiful little old lady there ever was 🤞❤️

NY MAJOR 🚨‼️! Anti-Trump actress Debra Messing dumps Hochul and endorses Trump-backed Bruce Blakeman for New York governor.

Debra Messing campaigned for Hillary Clinton in 2016. She backed Cynthia Nixon’s primary challenge to Andrew Cuomo in 2018. She has clashed publicly with President Trump for years. Now the New York native has endorsed Trump-backed Republican Bruce Blakeman over Gov. Kathy Hochul.
It’s strange that his @kalshi odds are only between 5-6% ! It should start rising after he crushes Hochul in the debate last night !
Messing made the announcement at an October 1 Manhattan fundraiser for @NassauExec . She told the Nassau County executive, “I am so grateful you are running. You are what we need more than anything.”
She pointed to affordability, congestion pricing, and rising utility bills as the reasons for the switch. She described the city’s last four years as devastating economically and socially, with businesses and residents leaving.
This is a Democrat celebrity who spent years lecturing Republicans, and she is now telling New Yorkers that Hochul’s New York isn’t working. If a Hollywood liberal who cheered Hillary and Nixon looks at the state’s costs and walks away from the incumbent, voters who pay those bills every month are paying attention too.
Debra Messing spent years campaigning against Republicans. Hochul managed to lose her anyway.
