I am so beyond grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to go to Kenya this past week. I have been so incredibly blessed by these children and this amazing team.
This week was filled with so many sweet moments and so many beautiful people. I had the privilege of spending time with the high school girls during VBS. These young ladies all have such beautiful hearts, full of gratitude and so much joy. They truly blessed me more than I can put into words.
God used the Compel organization in mighty ways this week. Healthcare in Kenya is very limited, and currently, the doctors are on strike. The Compel team hosted a medical camp where 6,060 people were seen. Through the medical camps and mobile crusades, there were over 2,800 salvations!
I am so grateful to everyone who prayed for this trip and supported me. The Lord has used this trip not only to impact the people of Webuye, but also me personally. He has taught me so much through the people I’ve met, and the experiences I’ve had this week.
I encourage you to continue praying for these people, their pastors, and the Compel home. If you feel led, you can support Compel here: https://compeloi.org “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
