It’s always such an honour to attend the @prideofbritain Awards, one of my favourite evenings of the whole year. I’m always lost for words thinking about the incredible winners. Sometimes it feels like the world is so full of hatred and division, and nights like this remind you how many people across the UK are quietly doing extraordinary things for one another. When the news feels heavy, this evening reminds you what people are capable of at their very best. You leave feeling proud, and asking yourself what small thing you could do to make someone else’s life a little easier. It’s a night that reminds you Britain’s greatest strength is its people. ❤️ I’m not allowed to give any spoilers, but the awards will be on ITV on Thursday 22 October at 8pm, so make sure you tune in. I’m having the most wonderful evening, and here’s a little behind-the-scenes from tonight. It always feels a little silly talking about what you wear when the evening isn’t about us at all, but I do want to credit the team and designers behind the look. I love this red dress and really feel like I’m channelling my own Rita Hayworth, which is funny because when I dyed my hair red, Giles Brandreth told me I looked like her. It really does take an entire village to look like that! My amazing glam team: Styling: @megswatkinsstyle Makeup: @bymellymakeup Hair: @michaelgrayhair Tailor @redesignandalter Look @houseofalvin Diamonds @ballantynediamonds Shoes @christianlouboutin Bag @riverisland Tan @secretspauk Thank you SO MUCH to @pandocruises for inviting me. I’m so, so grateful! And @bumbleandbumbleuk and @maccosmetics who hosted me and the team in the @corinthialondon to get ready. ❤️ 📸 @thetwins 🤳 @eveswords
