A few days on Sonora Island was awesome, slowing down and appreciating the extraordinary beauty of British Columbia and this amazing country we call home ❤️🇨🇦!

Seeing dolphins swim by at breakfast and alongside our boat. Spotting bald eagles overhead. Watching deer wander by as if they owned the island. Hiking through forests that make you feel wonderfully small, climbing and winding through the trails hand in hand so we all made it through. And I learned how to fish (yay)…and even caught a couple. 🎣

Sometimes the best thing is putting the phone down (except to capture the occasional glorious photo), listen to the water, spend time with old friends, and make new ones.
