Hi Friends 👋🏽
Welcome back to "Mari's Memories", where for the next couple months of Mondays, I will be showing you an inside peek of my travels with each 3x3 stop my team takes this summer.
Today, we're going back to the mid July where we traveled to Batam, Indonesia 🇮🇩. Our travel to Batam Island was quite the journey, because we took a flight, train, and ferry but at last we made it. We were hosted by the Harris hotel, which was centrally located to the ferry, the venue where we played, and Mega Mall Batam Center (local shopping center). We arrived in Batam a few days early, so we got to get really acquainted with the area. We spent time eating (Korean BBQ and Sushi Roi), shopping, and some much needed pampering (nails at D style salon and massages at Reborn spa). After competing, we celebrated one of our teammates birthday's and concluded our longest 3x3 stretch with a much needed break to Vietnam 🇻🇳 (stay tuned for the next post).
