NYSC Member D+es After Being Cr¥shed By Trailer In Ibadan Days After Resuming At Her Place Of Primary Assignment The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, has expressed sorrow over the d+ath of serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Oluwatosin Abidakun, who was k+lled in a road cr@sh involving an articulated truck in Ibadan on Monday. According to reports , Abidakun had recently resumed her primary assignment at the Assembly and was returning home on a motorcycle with another corps member when the truck r@mmed into them around Agodi Gardens, in Ibadan North Local Government Area. While Abidakun d+ed on the spot, the other corps member sustained inj¥ries and is receiving treatment at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. In a statement on Tuesday, Ogundoyin described the incident as “a painful and devastating loss,” saying the young corps member’s d+ath was heartbreaking because she had only just begun her national service with hopes and aspirations for the future. He extended his condolences to her family, friends and colleagues, while praying for the surviving corps member’s speedy recovery. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses revealed that the truck driver had allegedly hit several vehicles around Sango before proceeding towards Agodi Gardens, where the f@tal cr@sh occurred. One eyewitness alleged that the driver was attempting to escape after the earlier collisions, prompting drivers whose vehicles were hit to pursue him. The Oyo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Kehinde Dahunsi, confirmed the incident, saying the female corps member d+ed while the injured motorcycle rider was evacuated to the University College Hospital for treatment.
I used to love a Sunday in bed because of a late Saturday night. Watch Netflix, get uber eats and try not to think about work on Monday. Now it’s where we cuddle, laugh, cry, feed and even sometimes sleep. Since becoming a mum, I’ve become so much more conscious of what we surround ourselves with, especially what we sleep in. 🤎 Natural fibres, breathable, soft on our skin and practical because between Weston and two fur babies, everything needs to be washable hahaha. Our linen from @ilovelinen somehow gets softer with every wash, which is wild because every other linen set we’ve owned has done the complete opposite 🫠 Safe to say I’m converted. 🤎
I can feel the shadows lurking, I can feel them closing in… Who will be joining the witches dance this haunted season? 🕯️🔪
