🚨stop telling them to “STOP TATTLING!” 😩 Teach them what to do INSTEAD! 👇

Before coming to tattle, I trained my kindergarteners to STOP and ask themselves 3 questions:

1️⃣ Is someone HURT? 🤕
2️⃣ Is someone UNSAFE? 🚨
3️⃣ Is this an EMERGENCY? 🆘

If the answer was NO to all three, it was PROBLEM-SOLVER TIME! 🧠✨ Instead of dismissing them, I’d redirect with phrases like

“You’re safe! Try a solution!” or “I can’t WAIT to see you solve this with your words!”

But here’s where the MAGIC happens! 🎶 My No Tattling Song became an auditory cue that reinforced these expectations WITHOUT me having to repeat myself 100 times a day! Because the goal isn’t to SILENCE children. It’s to EQUIP them with the words, confidence, self-control, and problem-solving skills to handle little problems independently! 🙌

And TEACHER, you don’t have to spend your entire day feeling annoyed, overwhelmed, or BURNT OUT from correcting the SAME behaviors over and over! 😭

That’s why I created songs for EVERY classroom tension point! Instead of constantly managing behaviors with your voice, you have an actual SYSTEM in place. You hit PLAY, the music reinforces the expectations and creates the CULTURE and values you want to see without you saying a single word… and get back to doing what you LOVE: TEACHING! 🎶✨

Comment “SONGS” and I’ll send you my classroom management songs so you can stop repeating yourself and start teaching with JOY! 💛👇I promise there’s a better way! And you just found it! -Cindy xx

Marks & Spencer stealing designs?
There’s a fine line between inspiration and design theft - considering Bottega Veneta have trademarks for intrecciato, do you think this is in violation or are M&S okay doing what they’re doing?
