Why did Hanuman Ji enter Lanka at night? And who was Lankini? 🚩 In the Valmiki Ramayana, Sundara Kanda (Sargas 2–3), Hanuman Ji waits for nightfall and assumes a smaller form to enter Lanka without being detected while searching for Mata Sita. At Lanka’s entrance, he encounters Lankini, its guardian. When she strikes him, Hanuman Ji responds with a blow that brings her to the ground. She then remembers Lord Brahma’s prophecy: a vanara’s defeat of her would signal the beginning of Lanka’s downfall. Realising that the prophecy is unfolding, Lankini allows Hanuman Ji to proceed. ✨ An important lesson from the Ramayana: Sometimes, a seemingly small event marks the beginning of a great transformation. 📚 Source: Valmiki Ramayana (Sundara Kanda) #HanumanJi #Ramayana #learnwithbarkat #barkatarora #thehappylittleclinic
