„Schwarz-Weiß-Porträt eines tätowierten Mannes mit dunklem, welligem Haar und Piercings. Er schaut ruhig in die Kamera. Durch Jalousien fällt Licht und erzeugt markante horizontale Schatten auf Gesicht und Oberkörper. Die Aufnahme wirkt kontrastreich, ruhig und künstlerisch.“

SWIPE ⏩️ The NYC Marathon five-borough course turns 50 this year. 🗽

On October 24, 1976 the race left Central Park and ran through all five boroughs for the first time. This year brings a bigger medal, a new loop in the Bronx (first course change in 15 years), and new rules for getting to the start.

I put everything in one place: expo, race week, start waves, every borough, the finish, and my best tips.

And this one is personal. NYC is my hometown, and it’s my first marathon back after double knee surgery. 🥹

🔁 Share this post with that runner friend running the @nycmarathon this year.

📌Save it for race week.

Stay away, they bit🫷🏽

Thank you so much for the compliment, @deniquo
I really do appreciate it.
And in kind, I thought I’ll show you some truths that aren’t all that flattering.
Because I do not like to gate keep.

I understand why others do it; people can get really mean.
But I always respect women who are generous and share, regardless.

Because age IS the great equalizer. Unless you have a big bank account and lots of spare time, all of us will have wrinkles and sags and soft necks and jowls.
But also, hopefully, a greater understanding of why we are amazing.
And it’s not because we have snatched jaws.

Thank for the inspo!
