Blessed to say I won my first Emmy ✨

& it came from a story I never imagined I’d have to tell.

Coach Jayne McHugh was one of the first coaches to welcome me to Denver. 2 years later, she unexpectedly passed away just after her team won a fourth straight state championship.

I told this story simply hoping to make her proud. I never imagined it would reach people across the country, let alone earn my first Emmy.

Some stories just mean more.
