Upper belly CREASE + lower belly POOCH? 👀
Comment APP and I’ll message you my Exercises to FIX this core dysfunction!

Let’s talk UPPER AB GRIPPING ⚠️

This is when you habitually hold excessive TENSION in your upper abs or let them dominate instead of sharing the work.

What this can look and feel like ⬇️

• A firm, constantly “held-in” upper belly
• A softer, pooching lower belly
• A crease across your upper abdomen
• Difficulty expanding your ribs when you breathe

These are great clues that point to upper ab gripping! 🙌🏼

We NEED BALANCED abdominals! ✅

Here’s what I’m working on:

✨ Gentle cupping, skin rolling, and pinching to improve tissue MOBILITY and ease that constantly held-in feeling.

✨ Rib cage mobility + breathing into the sides and BACK of my ribs. Allowing my abdominal wall to expand on the inhale instead of keeping everything cinched.

✨ More BALANCED abdominal engagement, helping my lower and lateral abs, including my internal obliques, contribute without my upper abs taking over every rep.

Your upper abs have a job. They just don’t need to do EVERYONE ELSE’S, too!

The goal is for your diaphragm, ENTIRE abdominal wall, and pelvic floor to work as a TEAM. That beautiful SYMPHONY requires coordination, not constant gripping and contracting.

Ladies, we want a core unit that can EXPAND, CONTRACT, and manage PRESSURE.
