The 25 Hours Candle is made from a three-meter-long wax strand, carefully woven into its distinctive shape.
I first discovered this type of candle in a painting, and it immediately captured my attention. Fascinated by its unique form and history, I decided to bring this nearly forgotten craft back through
@cuvee.obj The raw material comes from one of the last remaining makers of traditional wax strands. She sources her wax from local beekeepers and spins the wax-coated wicks using a historically reconstructed machine. I then refine the material and hand-weave each candle with great care and dedication to craftsmanship.
To use the candle, simply unroll it and light the wick.
Through its remarkable length, it provides up to 25 hours of candlelight.
