Havenโ€™t halloweened in years but @lorenrochelle and @robinshoots threw a great party and gave me a good reason to get dolled up! I was dressed as cult member of Eyes Wide Shut and my ass was all the way out underneath this cape but Iโ€™m saving those pics for the Sewnly Fansโ„ข๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‰ Cape is made from the absolute worst pattern I have ever sewn in my life from an Etsy seller called Sewing Pattern Studios based out of NY that apparently uses Ai to write their instructions. Timing for this atrocity was great cause it truly made me want to murder someone. I got my measly $3 refunded for the shitty pattern and it STILL wasnโ€™t worth it, but thankfully I have enough sewing skills to figure most things out and the cape came out decent enough. The Godiva body suit is from a Madalynne pattern and wasnโ€™t as frustrating as other patterns Iโ€™ve made from this brand that were poorly explained hacks, so that was a win (although I did have to cut the thong and add more length to it because it was so short I thought it would slice my buttcrack in half). Unfortunately the expensive kit I bought for this bodysuit from the Madalynne shop did not have enough band elastic for the pattern as written, and I made the smallest size. This is likely one of the reasons the suit felt so short, and anyone larger than me who bought this kit is sadly shit out of luck if they got the same length of elastic I did- it would have been untenable. Pretty disappointing. Sewing this costume was not a joyful experience but I sacrificed for the holiday and I love how I looked once I was on the other side of it! Lastly, I wrote on substack about the halloween when I was six and my mom made our costumes. Hilarious that exactly forty years later I make my own and also had a horrible time in the process ๐Ÿ˜‚ link in bio!

When the king of the jungle starts making election promises, even the sheep have a reason to be suspicious! Imagine a lion standing before a crowd of innocent sheep and deer, confidently announcing that heโ€™ll become a vegetarian the moment he gets elected. Sounds like the perfect candidate, right? After all, what could be better than a predator promising to give up hunting for the sake of his voters? But there's just one tiny problem. The promise is coming from the very animal that has spent its entire life hunting the same creatures it is now trying to impress! ๐Ÿ’€ And that's what makes this meme so hilariously relatable. It's a clever take on how grand promises can suddenly appear when someone wants power, support, or approval. From dramatic speeches to unbelievable commitments, sometimes the things people promise sound a little too good to be true. The funniest part? The sheep in the audience probably think they've finally found a leader who understands their problems, while the deer in the background are wondering whether they should trust the speech or start running. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Of course, the meme is pure satire, but there's a timeless message hidden behind the humour: Promises are easy to make, but actions are what truly reveal someone's intentions. Because when a lion promises to become vegetarian, the real question isn't what he's saying before the election. It's what happens after he wins! Would you vote for this candidate, or would you run before the speech even ended? #sarcasm #memes #brainrot #funny
Goodbye, Halloween! ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ–ค I honestly missed dressing up for Halloween so much! ๐Ÿฅน This year, I actually got dressed up just to watch a movie. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Remember, remember the 5th of November! ๐ŸŽญ Yep, V for Vendetta! My reaction is coming on November 5th, and I couldnโ€™t resist getting into character a little. ๐Ÿคญ You know, I think these movie reactions might become my new excuse to dress up more often. I always loved getting creative with outfits and different looks, and maybe this is my way of bringing that side of me back. โค๏ธ Who says Halloween has to be just once a year? ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ–ค
