A court in Meerut on Wednesday, October 14, sentenced Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla to death in connection with the death of Rastogi’s husband, Saurabh Rajput. His dismembered body was found concealed in a blue drum filled with cement at their home in March 2025. “Both have been sentenced to death for the crime,” advocate Krishan Kumar Dubey reportedly said. The sentencing follows the court’s decision to convict the duo last month. District Judge Arvind Kumar Mishra delivered the verdict after 126 hearings and statements from 22 witnesses. According to the prosecution, Rastogi and Shukla conspired against Rajput, a Merchant Navy officer, on March 3, 2025. Police said his body was dismembered and the remains concealed inside a blue industrial drum using cement and sand. The duo was arrested following an investigation, during which police recovered the drum containing Rajput’s remains. During the trial, the prosecution presented circumstantial, technical and physical evidence against the accused. Local shopkeepers testified that they had sold a blue plastic drum, cement bags, sand, cleavers and razors to Rastogi and Shukla before the incident. As business owners, we spend so much money on marketing, paying for ads and advertising but to be honest? Sometimes all the effort may not translate to sales At some point, we have to ask ourselves whether we’re investing in genuine brand growth or simply paying for visibility that doesn’t translate into sales because then what would be the point? So, we’re choosing to rethink our approach. Instead of sending products out and hoping they’ll be noticed, we’d rather invest in the people who genuinely want and need them; Our existing customers. Our online community. Our future customers and The women who have supported supportéd shapewear from the beginning. Women who will wear our products confidently ,experience their value and share their experiences because they genuinely love them, not because they’re simply being paid to or they got them for free. Let us to make you feel Supportéd 🤍 With love, Palesa x
