A Pakistani parliamentarian has claimed that India lost $70 billion in just two days during the India–Pakistan conflict. But what does that figure actually represent, and is it being confused with stock market losses?

During the May 2025 conflict, reports cited a sharp fall in Indian stock market value amid rising tensions. However, a decline in market capitalisation is not the same as money directly lost by the government or the economy.

So before accepting claims of billions lost in just 48 hours, it is worth examining the numbers, the context and the evidence. Watch the facts, not the fantasies.

What's a “green flag” everyone praises that you secretly question?
Someone who's always nice to everyone sounds wonderful, right?
But I sometimes wonder whether they're genuinely kind… or simply uncomfortable with disappointing people.
Because real kindness isn't just keeping everyone happy. Sometimes, it's having the courage to be honest—even when it's awkward.
Would you rather have someone who's always nice or someone who's genuinely honest?

October, a month of cancer awareness, has brought yet another heartbreaking farewell. I wish my wall carried fewer goodbyes, but such is life, with all its beauty and cruelty.

Some people are simply impossible not to love. She was one of them. Her radiant smile, her immense heart, her kindness and extraordinary gentleness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. I genuinely doubt she ever had a single enemy.
Today, after a courageous battle with cancer, Mona Monla Ahdab leaves behind a husband, three beautiful children, a loving mother, a sister, a brother, a beloved family, and countless heartbroken friends. Life can be terribly unfair to the most beautiful souls. But her warmth, her goodness, and that unforgettable smile will remain with us forever.
Rest in peace, beautiful soul 🤍🕊️
