Big news! My painting “Little Blue House” now belongs to the King County Public Art Collection! It started with a little house-shaped bottle I found in an antique store here in Washington. It made me think about homes I’ve had and the space between them, New England where I grew up and WA where I live now, and that feeling became this piece. It was chosen through Here and Now, a call @kc4culture opened earlier this year for portable artworks, something the county hadn’t done directly in almost a decade. I’m incredibly honored to have been selected and grateful the public will get to enjoy the painting. Thank you @kc4culture ! 💙
