INTRODUCING OUR TEACHERS FOR WORKSHOP #1 OUT OF 4

In 2021, two divas’ fates collided at the University of Maryland, College Park. Over the years, their friendship, chemistry, and powers have grown stronger as they shared countless stages through GGWB and Phunktions. Now, Rebecca (@rejeccabang) is active on Day One and Kevin (@kevingigi2001) is captaining for Capital Funk, but when their stars align, the two dancers have been known to collaboratively serve in projects such as Club Krèmelin and Ctrl+C. For this upcoming HCF workshop, they’re combining forces once more. They’re excited to share their love of dancing and looking forward to joint-slaying with you all!

Paetyn Lewis (@paepae__), originally from Upstate New York, is a choreographer, teacher, and dancer based in the DMV area. In 2022 she received a BA in Dance from the University of Maryland’s School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance studies. Her training includes hip-hop, modern, tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theater. Passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of artists, she teaches at several studios throughout the area, including C-Unit Studio and N2 Studios. Paetyn is also the founder and creative director of Femmeology, an all women performance group specializing in street jazz and Vogue fusion.
