On the day of the solar eclipse, we want to share some more information about IMAGINARIUM, our upcoming performance in October.
IMAGINARIUM is rooted in the idea of activating our sense of imagination through darkness, text, sound, tactility, light — and, of course, choreography.
The piece continues our very first deep dive, in 2020, into complete darkness and how it affects our senses, our perception, our thinking, our relationships, and our sense of self in space and time.
Since then, darkness has been a strong partner in our artistic universe, manifesting in many different forms. In IMAGINARIUM, darkness will both be physical, as audiences will be immersed into longer periods without light; but it can also be understood in a more metaphorical or metaphysical sense.
The piece is co-produced with Aaben Dans and will premiere on 31st October this year at @aabendans. More information will follow very soon!
