I basically went into a calorie deficit naturally by having my protein, but then I replaced a lot of my calories with carbs so I’d have more energy to push heavier in the gym and intern gaining more muscle ! You genuinely don’t need more than your bodyweight and protein unless you are bulking to a specific bodyweight and you eat more in order to suffice for your goal !
