Probably the most rewarding yet most difficult case I’ve ever completed. This patient came in with limited opening, severe jaw pain, and headaches. She couldn’t really eat much and was miserable… we stabilized her jaw with a TMJ orthotic and within months here symptoms were gone and she felt great. We the restored her with all composite bonding.. Sure the case definitely could be made for using all porcelain to manage the tooth size discrepancies and wear, but this patient chose a more conservative option due to factors that were important to her.. so, I gave everything I had designing this case to work both functionally and esthetically. This is a 6 month post restore after photo and the life and happiness in her eyes means the world to me. I’m so thankful she trusted us to help her. One of our favorite patients ever !!!
