this is a long one. I have thought of sharing this in parts and then I said nah.. this wants to come through in this way and whoever stays to listen is supposed to.

this is a pretty vulnerable share about my journey of celibacy (I feel like I want to throw up at the thought that this is going to be posted)

I’ve sat with the idea of sharing this for awhile.
I have been seeing more & more people share about their journey of celibacy and it’s always felt so empowering to hear their stories. mine wanted to be shared, too.

everyone has their own views and opinions about celibacy.

for me, it was an invite to meet myself deeper and quit trying to reach for love, validation & attention from the outside.

I didn’t want lust to control my decisions anymore.

during this process, I have never felt such an appreciation & understanding for my temple and how sacred my energy truly is.

it has been a time of unraveling, shedding, and lots of moments of needing to sit through the sting of embarrassment… until I was able to come through to the other side & feel love, acceptance & deeper understanding of my journey and my choices.
