AI company Anthropic warned that small AI models could become capable of spreading as self-replicating AI worms across internet-connected devices, including smart TVs and appliances, without human assistance by the end of 2026.

Researchers demonstrated that a 26-billion-parameter model could run across 15 inexpensive Android TV boxes. In separate tests with reduced security barriers, a larger model spread across eight simulated devices, while smaller models struggled to complete the replication process.

Anthropic warned that these AI worms could be difficult to eliminate because they lack a central shutdown point and can adapt to unfamiliar hardware. Such systems could spread over several days, prompting researchers to recommend stronger device security and network monitoring.

Almost nine years after it was first promised, Tesla has unveiled its new Roadster, a car developed with SpaceX that hung upside down on a ramp, flipped in mid-air and jumped a row of Teslas. We explain the fan suction that holds it upside down, the cold-gas thrusters that let it fly, and how the Roadster got here, from a Lotus-based sports car to a car with a rocket inside.

Finding your illustration style is supposed to feel like a relief. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it is simply the moment one particular version of your work gets rewarded.

You make something different. It gets more likes, more comments, more enquiries. You think, “Maybe this is what I should be doing.” Naturally, you repeat it.

There is nothing wrong with repetition. Repetition is how artists learn and how a visual language develops. But there is a difference between repeating because there is still something to discover and repeating because the algorithm, clients or audience approved of it last time.

That difference can be surprisingly difficult to see from inside your own creative process. You can become so focused on figuring out what people want from you that you give yourself very little space to discover what you actually want to say.

If you have been worrying about finding your style, building a consistent illustration portfolio or becoming more recognisable, I’m running a free 3-day Creative DNA Experiment.

We are going to look at the whole problem from a different angle and give you space to explore what you’re about.

⭐️ Registration is now open.

This moment means so much to me because of the people who helped me get here. To my coaches who challenged me and believed in me, my family who has supported me since day one, and my teammates who made me love this game even more, thank you. Most importantly, thank you, Lord, for guiding my journey and blessing me with the opportunity to keep playing the game I love. Blessed is an understatement.🤍

Thank you Coach Brock, Coach Golden, and all the other Tarleton staff for believing in me. Stephenville is home 🏠
