TNHT Staff: @hausofaaron __________________ Neighbors, an ICE agent shot 28-year-old Oscar Belgal in the neck in front of a 5-year-old boy believed to be his son in New York City on Thursday evening. __________________ According to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, a federal immigration agent fired seven rounds into Belgal’s car in the Marble Hill neighborhood. The child was not injured. __________________ Homeland Security said agents were conducting a targeted enforcement operation to arrest an undocumented immigrant with a criminal record. The department claims Belgal has connections to the Trinitarios, a Dominican gang, and that he had previously been arrested twice in connection with a 2023 robbery charge and a 2025 criminal sale of a controlled substance charge. __________________ Homeland Security acknowledged that an ICE officer shot Belgal while attempting to make an arrest, adding that agents “immediately rendered aid.” __________________ The shooting sparked protests, with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani calling the incident an “outrage” and accusing the Trump administration of “terrorizing our city.” __________________ Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin also commented on the incident, saying, “I will say this about the five year old child. As a father of six, I would never endanger my kids. My job as a father is protect my family.” 🎥: @cspan abc7ny

This is the idea behind basically all of model improvement and scaling in machine learning. The loss function is the most essential part.
Finally made it to @shebara. I was curious if it would actually live up to the hype. It exceeded all my expectations. From the spaceship like architecture that made me feel like I was on Mars, to the crystal blue waters, incredible spa, Japanese omakase, and a private dinner on the beach under the stars… it was an experience from start to finish. For me, #shebara is a destination. It feels like a glimpse into the future of Saudi travel and hospitality. Big thank you to the guest management, staff and butler team, especially Marbien, for making our stay so special. 🚀🇸🇦🌊✨

The iconic lineup scene in The Usual Suspects (1995) was originally scripted to be a serious, tense moment but became famous for the actors’ genuine, uncontrollable laughter. Director Bryan Singer decided to use the laughing takes because they perfectly captured an authentic sense of camaraderie and disrespect for authority, turning a “dead serious” scene into one of cinema’s most memorable, unscripted moment.
