On Saturday morning we had to say bye to our best friend! Losing Goose so unexpectedly and so fast has been truly heartbreaking. He was more than just a dog to us - he was a member of our family. There are no words that can be said to explain the amount of love we have for him and the immense loss we feel.
Goose was my soul dog - he knew exactly what I was feeling and was always there to be my comfort sometimes even before I knew I needed it. Just having him around brought us so much peace and happiness. He was my shadow and followed me around everywhere I went. I feel so blessed and lucky to have felt his love and to have had him be there through so many life events and changes.
Goose was the happiest, handsomest, sweetest, and loving boy. He had a love for jumping in the lake, swimming, getting in mud, playing catch, going on walks and sniffing everything in sight, hogging the bed, morning cuddles, eating bananas, pillows, playing with his sister Charlie, climbing right on top of us like he was a lap dog, and always being right at our feet. He was the king of drooling and master of stealing food out of the trash can. He was truly perfect in all ways.
Goose will forever be in our hearts and thoughts.
Until we meet again at the rainbow bridge
