the transition from being the girl in middle school that made fun of kids for believing in God, to getting ready to start a new bible study for my senior year of high school is nothing short of a MIRACLE!!!
my entire life up until this last year, i have been nothing short of a follower; always agreeing with the main opinion in the room to fit in with others and never standing on my faith or my own opinions. a few months ago, i prayed that God would refine me to be a leader, and to be able to stand up for myself in ways i never felt i could. it’s safe to say God showed up BIG TIME for me in that prayer. i went through a deep pruning season that, sure enough, gave me the courage to lean into my walk with Christ, and less into pleasing others.
on the other side of this season, i can proudly say that i have never been more confident and more in-tune with who the God of the universe says i am and who He wants me to be. i cannot wait to see what else God has for me in the upcoming season of my senior year!!
my word given to me for this past week at beach camp was the word “builder”. this word was extremely full circle for me considering the fire i walked through and the testimony i have now to be able to reach people to glorify God’s kingdom.
