Tot zover het Televisier-Ring Gala 2026 😂😝 dressed by @worldofoger 👔

don’t miss out on this Sam Mitchell hat. 🤩

ticket link on our story!

Four years ago, I posted this exact video. And to this day, it is probably the most hated video I’ve ever posted on the internet.

People were STITCHING it just to talk shit about me. Making fun of the recipe, calling it disgusting, unhealthy, you name it.

I remember reading comment after comment wondering if I should just take the damn video down.

And honestly? I almost did.

I think about that version of myself a lot. The girl who was just messing around in her kitchen, trying to come up with recipes that made eating healthier a little easier and a hell of a lot more enjoyable. Someone who genuinely just wanted to help people and had absolutely no idea what her life was going to look like four years later.

And I think about how different my life could have been if I had let those people convince me to stop.

I might have stopped experimenting with recipes. Stopped putting myself out there. Stopped sharing the things I was excited about because I was too worried about what strangers on the internet were going to say.
And maybe I never would have written a cookbook.

Maybe those recipes never would have made it into hundreds of thousands of kitchens.

Maybe I never would have gotten the messages from people telling me they finally lost the weight they’d been struggling with for years, that they learned how to enjoy food again, or that something as simple as one of my recipes helped change their relationship with food.

Maybe I never would have met so many of you who started with my recipes, bought my cookbook, and eventually trusted me and my team to coach you through your fitness journeys.

And THAT is what gets me emotional.

Because when I look at this video today, I don’t see the recipe that got me made fun of by thousands of strangers.

I see the girl who had absolutely no idea what she was building.
