Massive wildfire in the Rhinogydd mountains, Gwynedd, North Wales. The scale of this fire is hard to put into words.
A member of the fire service at the scene told us it’s the biggest wildfire currently being dealt with in Britain. I haven’t seen that officially confirmed yet, but seeing it in person, it’s easy to believe.
A huge thank you to every firefighter, farmer and volunteer working tirelessly to bring it under control. Hoping everyone stays safe and the fire is contained as soon as possible.
