My time in the garden picking flowers today was sweet. I’ll share what was on my heart during this time before this precious creature decided to come less than 12 inches from my face. It was so special 🤍
What is God like?
He is love 🥺 “The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8
“God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him.”
1 John 4:9
He is compassionate, faithful, merciful, and kind 🥺“The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”
Exodus 34:6
He is patient 🥺 “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”
2 Peter 3:9
He is good. A refuge🥺 “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!” Psalms 34:8
“The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation.”
Psalms 145:9
He is faithful 🥺 “Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.”
Deuteronomy 7:9
