Takayama!!!!
This place rlly brought me back to life after the chaos of Tokyo and the frustration of Nikko lol
I feel like the first week of our trip we just stumbled around, got lost, got scammed. Was definitely feeling defeated.
Takayama was a real moral booster!!! Stunning surroundings, good food, good prices, cool streets, not overly touristy, easy to navigate.
Overall 10/10. This is an area of Japan I would come back to and would definitely recommend.
