🛑 S.T.O.P.P. 🛑 Stop Taxing Our Paycheck/Property. Petition to the Members of Congress. We, the undersigned California residents, respectfully urge you to provide meaningful tax relief by introducing and supporting legislation to end state income taxes on workers’ paychecks and eliminate property taxes on owner-occupied homes. California’s high cost of living has placed an enormous financial burden on working families, retirees, and homeowners. We believe hardworking Californians should be able to keep more of what they earn and enjoy the security of owning a home without the ongoing burden of property taxes.
