My performance for Neo Tokyo’s Cosplay Off as Jean Grey/Phoenix, specifically from Marvel Rivals. I had been planning this number for over a year, accumulating pieces little by little. Practicing w dowl rods inside a piece of fabric, to gliding around stage with light up wings. I couldn’t have asked for better opportunity to showcase my growth from last year to now. I started my Draglesque Journey as a kitten for the Cosplay Off last year at ABC 13, I never thought that a year later I would be competing in the same competition I once kittened for, and even going as far as to earn the Directors Choice award. I’m still shocked. Thank you Neo Tokyo, from the performers to the directors and organizers, I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for yall taking a chance and giving me a place to express myself safely.🥹❤️
