I had the honor of meeting Reinhold Messner, the legendary Italian mountaineer, at Gilgit Serena Hotel.
Reinhold Messner made history in 1986 by becoming the first person to climb all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks without the use of supplemental oxygen—one of the greatest achievements in the history of mountaineering.
It was a memorable privilege to meet one of the world's greatest mountaineers.
My son, Mr. Fazal Wadood, was also with me on this special occasion, making the moment even more meaningful and unforgettable.
