Would you be happy paying 1.5% of your salary into a compulsory scheme for 40 years, with no option to opt out & you’ll never see a penny of it? 🤔💸 I’m a primary school teacher, single and without children. Yet I’ve spent almost 20 years contributing to the Spouses’ and Children’s Pension Scheme. Over a teaching career, that could amount to €40,000+! And if I never have eligible dependants, there may never be a survivor’s pension paid on my behalf. I’m not against protecting families. I’m questioning why we don’t have a choice. I believe this deserves a review and discussion at Congress. 📢 Whether you’re a teacher or not, does this seem fair? 👇 Comment your thoughts and SHARE to get the conversation started! €40,000+ is an illustrative estimate, not my actual contributions. Limited refund provisions apply. A chicken salad for every season! 🍂 This one was just crazy. The textures. The flavors! Went a lil chunkier this time and was not disappointed. 10/10 🤌🏻 As usual I didn’t reeeeaaally measure anything… but here are some approximations. The great thing about this is that with the mayo and such, you can start smaller and keep adding more until it’s where you want it. 🙌🏻 I mean, you can really do that with everything. Either way… Fall Chicken Salad👇🏻 1 rotisserie chicken (white and dark meat, pulled/shredded) 3 large stalks of celery (minced) 1 honey crisp apple (or similar, small diced) 1/2 small red onion (minced) 1/2 cup chopped pepperoncini 1/2 cup fresh parsley (chopped) 1/2 cup fresh dill (chopped) 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans 1/2 cup dried cranberries (unsweetened) 1 lemon (zest + juice) 2 tbsp ACV 1 cup mayo (your fav) 1 tbsp Dijon or whole grain mustard (or a combo!) 1/2 tsp celery seed Kosher salt + fresh cracked pepper to taste Serve with crunchy crackers and some sharp cheddar! YUM! I’m already looking forward to a winter chicken salad. What should I put in it?! 🤔🤔 #chickensalad #fallrecipes
