Okay... am I the only one who didn’t know Takealot had fashion? 👀🛍️

Fashion Day may be over, but these are still some of my favourite finds! @takealotcom

If you haven’t checked out the fashion section on Takealot yet, consider this your sign. You might just find your next favourite piece too.💕

Depeche Mode – Walking In My Shoes 1992🖤💜🖤

For me, I absorbed songs of faith and devotion at a slow pace. I was such a huge Depeche Mode fan that I wasn’t quite ready to leave there earlier work and evolve with the band. SOFD was heavy and more rock driven. It wasn’t until I saw them perform songs like walking in my Shoes and I Feel You live that I completely understood. SOFD is pretty incredible and still holds up today. @depechemode

Is SOFD high on your Depeche Mode list? Were you blown away hearing this material live like I was?

Sonic Youth - Death Valley '69
At Mojave Desert 1985

movement, january 5, 1985, about 100 miles out in the mojave desert, sonic youth playing where there's nothing but sand.

this was their first west coast show, the gila monster jamboree, redd kross, then sonic youth at twilight, then meat puppets playing on while the desert got cold.

"death valley '69" was fourth in the set. lydia lunch wasn't on stage, so lee ranaldo sang her part. same set, "flower" got its first known performance.
