This is the kind of thing that stops me in my tracks…an earthen mosaic made from 30,000 hand crafted bricks, laid by hand depicting architectural patterns from heritage sites in the Levant.
There’s something so grounding about work made at this scale, by hand, with this much patience. I stood in front of it and just… slowed down. Meditative doesn’t even begin to cover it. The craftsmanship alone — the repetition, the precision, the sheer devotion of it — is staggering.

These photos remind of a winery in France we tasted at. The wife was Asian and it was reflected in the design. Love your look in photos.
