Winner of Artic Open 2026 🇫🇮😍

27-25 in the decider today against a very well playing Yushi Tanaka 🤯

It looked like an uphill battle in the beginning but I never gave up and kept fighting throughout the whole thing. Very proud of this achievement 🏆

Big kudos to coach @kasperantonsen who really got me on track in some crucial and difficult moments in this week!

Thanks for all the support! Enjoyed my time in Finland this week 🙌

Almost 50, a mom, trainer for 25+ years, introvert… and definitely caring less about a few things these days.

1️⃣My weight
I’m actually the heaviest I’ve been in years, and I’m ok with that. My body has been through pregnancies, different stages of life, hormone changes and now perimenopause. Bodies change. Of course I still want to look good and feel confident, but these days I care way more about feeling good, being strong, keeping muscle on my body and moving well.

2️⃣Missing a workout
I used to be a lot more obsessive about my workouts. I still love training and definitely don’t like missing too many days, but I listen to my body more now. If I’m tired, run down or just need the recovery, I take the day off. One missed workout isn’t going to ruin anything.

3️⃣ Other people’s opinions
I’m not in my 20s or 30s, and I’m almost out of my 40s. Apparently my tolerance has aged right along with me, lol. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. They may not agree with how I train, how I take care of my body, how I look, how I dress or how I live my life… and that’s ok.

The older I get, the more I care about feeling strong, moving well, taking care of myself and enjoying my life.

What’s something you care less about now than you did when you were younger? Let me know below.👇🏼

If you want to feel stronger, move better and train in a way that supports you for the long haul, come train with me. 💪🏼
