Thailand is always a great place for reunions. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🇹🇭
1st–2nd slides With our Thai friend Marie. My sister Jean and I first met her in Vietnam in 2024 after I offered to take her photos at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts while she was traveling solo. We instantly became friends. I saw her again in Bangkok last year, where she showed me around Chinatown and Bubble in the Forest. This year, we’re reunited for the third consecutive year, this time with my sister Jean. She even picked my sister up from the airport!
3rd-5th slides With my Tunisian friend Dali, who’s also a family friend. We first met in Manila in 2023, then reunited in Guangzhou, China, where I celebrated my birthday last year. This year, we met again in Bangkok, along with our new friend Haithem from Algeria.
6th slide With my Punjabi friends, Sarbjot and Harman. We first met in Udaipur, India, last January. We were supposed to reunite in Chandigarh, but our schedules didn’t work out. Instead, we finally met again in Pattaya.
7th slide The most random reunion of the trip. Completely unplanned. I was walking along Khaosan Road with my hostel friends when I bumped into my Indian friend Hiteshi. We first met in Nepal last February while staying at the same hostel in Kathmandu.
One trip, four reunions. Definitely one of the highlights of this Thailand trip. ❤️
