שם בעברית: אנפת הבקר
שם באנגלית: Cattle Egret

F1 RETURNS TO AFRICA

Last week I posted a video about F1’s imminent announcement that they would be racing in Africa in the future and today it's been confirmed with Rwanda to join the calendar in the early 2030's with a landmark 10-year agreement.

This will see the sport return to the African continent for the first time since 1993.

The long-term agreement will see the first race in the country take place once the new purpose-built circuit in Bugesera, Rwanda, has been completed in the early 2030s.

F1's press release states, the track "will be located approximately 40 kilometres south of Kigali and adjacent to the new Kigali International Airport. It will be designed to work in harmony with the natural landscape, using the area's elevation changes to create a unique and challenging racing experience while delivering exceptional viewing opportunities for fans."

We just hit 1.5 MILLION subscribers on YouTube 🥳🥳

What’s funny is that exactly 7 years ago today, on October 11th, 2019, we posted our very first video on this channel. And now, 7 years later, there are 1.5 million people subscribed to it. Still feels a bit surreal 🥺

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from these 7 years, it’s that the secret is to just KEEP GOING 🙂

Don’t stop after a big win. Don’t immediately jump to the next shiny thing. Keep doing what works, keep improving, and let things compound over the years. It’s crazy how far you can get just by sticking with something long enough.

And one very honest insight I wanted to share:

We have videos with over a million views where people comment about how much passion they can feel through the screen, how much love and effort went into making them.

The funny thing is, I HATED making some of those videos 😂

Like, genuinely dreaded almost every second of the process.

I was good at it, yes. But was I passionate about every part of it? Absolutely not.

And honestly, Nicole was the one pushing us to keep creating videos even when I hated the process. So good to have a cofounder who pushes you when you need it (and vice versa!) ❤️

I think that’s something people don’t talk about enough. You can be really good at something, get amazing results from it, and still hate parts of the process.

So instead of quitting, I started asking myself: how can I make this more enjoyable so I can actually keep doing it for years?

I changed parts of the process, stopped putting so much pressure on myself to make everything perfect, and found ways to make the work lighter.

And now I can sometimes script 3 videos in a day and actually enjoy doing it!

That’s the real win for me. Because now I know I can keep doing this for years to come.

So the goal is 2 MILLION next. And the plan is pretty simple: keep going, keep improving, and don’t lose momentum just because we hit a big milestone.

7 years in, and we’re not stopping anytime soon 🙌❤️

5 star recruit GG Banks had all of us on the edge of our seats when she took to Twitch to announce where she was going to take her talents. It was down to LSU, South Carolina and Texas. Let’s just say she is the master of anticipation because the pre announcement speech took YEARS 😈🤣👅
