Five members of a family, including a couple and their three children, were found d*ad at their home in Nagla Shri Padam village in Greater Noida’s Rabupura area on Saturday morning.

The deceased reportedly included Mahesh (37), his wife Lalita (35), and their three children, aged 11, 7, and 3.

According to preliminary reports, the family had eaten noodles the previous night. Food p*isoning is among the suspected causes, but the exact reason behind the d*aths has not yet been confirmed.

Police are investigating the incident, while forensic examination and post-m*rt*m findings are expected to help establish the cause of d*ath.

“Please uninstall app if you don’t agree.”

That’s the message Dexcom showed people who depend on its app to see their glucose readings.

Dexcom has since clarified that users can opt out of certain provisions, including arbitration, by emailing its legal department—and continue using the app.

Then why wasn’t that choice clear in the original notification?

Someone opening their app because they feel low should not have to decipher a legal agreement before seeing their blood sugar. Managing diabetes already asks enough of us.

Dexcom: explain the changes clearly, make applicable opt-outs easy to find within the app, and keep glucose readings accessible while people review their choices.

This needs to be corrected now. Patient safety comes first.
