Some projects stay with you longer than the campaign that launched them. Come Where the Dream Rests in the Shell is one of those, so we’re bringing it back.
This identity for Gdańsk City Gallery grew out of a conversation between voice and form, sound and textile, the human and the animal. That’s the space Antonina Nowacka and Tomasz Umbras built together, curated by Gabriela Warzycka-Tutak. Our job wasn’t to illustrate that conversation. It was to find a visual language soft enough to hold it without flattening it.
We landed on baroque ornament: curling forms in warm cream, cobalt, and aged gold. The type follows the same rule. Nothing sits straight, nothing is perfectly symmetrical.
We usually reach for bold and high-contrast work. This time softness felt like the right call, and it held its own just fine.
