stop scrolling — I found THE hidden gem for basque burnt cheesecake 🤫🔥

soft, creamy and lava-like inside, with that caramelized top. the seasonal JASMINE flavour was a pleasant surprise — SO RICH, might honestly be the best cheesecake flavour i’ve ever had 👀

coffee was smooth and strong too (made with @olait_hk milk!), and i finally tried the iconic mont blanc — super unique and worth a try!

There is a particular discomfort in growing up: the realisation that the person you are becoming might not have much in common with the person you once were. The things that came naturally begin to require consideration; the freedom of being young gives way to the awareness of how you are perceived. Somewhere between the two, it becomes difficult to tell whether you have outgrown an earlier version of yourself or simply learned to keep it in check.

For Grent Perez, that tension has taken on a name. goose, his forthcoming EP, places Grent in conversation with Goose, a younger, more playful alter ego who appears to have little interest in the responsibilities of being an adult. Where Grent is measured by the person he has become, Goose offers a return to the instincts, impulses and irreverence that can get lost along the way. The two are not necessarily at odds because one is right and the other wrong. Rather, their conflict raises a more interesting question: what happens when growing up starts to feel like growing away from yourself?

It is an idea that gives goose a life beyond the familiar exercise of an artist reflecting on personal growth. The relationship between Grent and Goose creates room to examine the competing versions of ourselves that coexist, often uneasily, beneath a single name. There is the person we present to the world, the person we believe we ought to be, and the one who still wants to do things simply because they feel good. Maturity might mean learning to live with those differences, rather than deciding which version deserves to survive.
