I’m a secular music artist and I used to sing “Saving My Love for you” as part of my repertoire. I stopped singing it the day I internalised the lyrics and it dawned on me on me that the song was about having an affair. I felt so ashamed of myself.

That's not how the conversation went. You have to be careful when repeating things and not repeating them correctly cause the internet will be ready to pounce and drag Cece in a hot minute just because you told the story wrong. And just because they think Cece was attacking Whitney. You added a whole bunch of stuff that Cece never said. I've heard Cece tell that story before and Cece didn't say any of that. And that song was out waaaaay before Cece and Whitney ever met. That song came out in 1985. And Bebe and Cece Winans didn't met Whitney until like 87 or 88
