People across Mumbai took to the streets in solidarity with survivors of sexual assault and to raise their voices against sexual violence amid multiple sexual violence incidents in the country. The “Walk for Women” was held across multiple locations in the city, with women, men, senior citizens, children and members of the transgender community coming together to speak out against offenders. This initiative was organised first by Neha Singh in 2014 through Why Loitere Campaign a womens right campaign to reclaim public spaces for women by loitering the initiative is now taking place not just across the city but across the country in cities like Delhi, Nagpur, banglore, more @mumbaitoday.news covered one of the walks on ground, from Andheri Station to Versova Metro Station.
