The Tracy Emin exhibition made me cry the whole time. Not just because her work is so moving and personal to me on so many levels but because growing up I lived next to a piece of hers on this random building in amsterdam that said The More Of You The More I Love You. I’ve carried that phrase into every relationship I’ve ever had. I always want more from people. More complexity and nuance and I will love you all the more for it

I connect with her so much more now as an adult but her work has been carrying me lightly since before I even knew who she was
